This
presentation provides the participant with an
understanding of the many important characteristics of a
healthy practice group for physicians, other health
professionals, and for many professionals not involved
in health care. The principles are universal ones that
can be applied to understanding and improving the
organization. They are drawn from Dr. Vickmans
extensive experience in managing and leading
professionals and from selected contributions to the
literature. |

minimum timeframe is 1 hour. With questions and
discussion, the timeframe could swell to 1.5

(medical group, hospital), hospital staff,
nurses, and physicians.

Methodology: |
|
This is
a presentation by the speaker using examples
from everyday practice. It is interactive with
the audience, as their thoughts on discussion
topics are requested and encouraged. The
speaker frequently offers insights from his
personal perspectives on individual topics.
Practical suggestions and advice are offered,
with specific ideas for implementation. A
question and answer session with discussion is
built into the presentation depending upon the
time allotted. |
